Building extraordinary vehicles since 1997

Unique vehicles, design and build.

RHEL and Ralph Hosier have a long history of building extraordinary vehicles to challenging specifications.

Additionally we offer engineering and project advice for other people and organisations starting out on their own challenging automotive projects.

So if you have a bold new idea for a very special vehicle feel free to get in touch for a chat.

Fleet conversions, modifications and upgrades

Using our well proportioned premises and our skilled team we are happy to action fleet conversions and upgrades, whether we design the conversion or it is a bought in package.

We are used to adapting systems to fit into vehicles with differences to the original design, something that catches some people out.

As our core team have spent decades in engineering product design at major OEMS we are used to the quality standards required for fleets.

From small jobs to major conversions we are happy to work with you.

TV Film and Media

Ralph started working with the TV industry 25 years ago on BBC Panic Mechanic, since then he has worked as both a presenter and behind the scenes to produce special vehicles.

From cars modified for tracking in challenging environments to show cars to make the audience wow we have built them all and understand the unique requirements of the TV and film industries.

We also have a long history of supporting vehicle builds on car TV shows, builds are done in confidence in closed parts of the workshop.

The workshop is also a film set, with controlled lighting and a large space that can be set dressed, making this an ideal place to film your car or engineering shows.
